# Create discounts

#### **Step 1: Navigate to the Discounts Section**

* Go to the **Discounts & Events** section in your dashboard.

#### **Step 2: Click on Create Discount Code**

* Click on the **Create** button to start setting up a new discount code.

#### **Step 3: Fill in the Discount Code Details**

* **Code**: Enter the code your customers will use to apply the discount.
* **Description**: (Optional) Add a description to explain what the discount is for.
* **Discount**: Specify the percentage or fixed amount of the discount.
* **Status**: Choose whether the discount code is **Active** or **Inactive**.

#### **Step 4: Save the Discount Code**

* Once all details are filled in, click the **Save** button to create the discount code.
