# Cash register

Welcome to the Cash Register Management section. This area provides you with the tools to manage your store's cash registers efficiently.

**Key Features:**

1. **Create Cash Registers:**
   * Set up new cash registers for different sections or locations within your store.
   * Customize cash register settings to meet your store’s specific needs.
2. **Open and Close Cash Registers:**
   * Open cash registers at the start of a shift, allowing sales staff to begin processing transactions.
   * Close cash registers at the end of the shift, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and secure.
3. **Overview of Cash Register Flows, Shifts, and Status:**
   * Monitor the cash flow through each register, tracking all transactions and cash movements.
   * View detailed reports on shifts, including start and end times, and total sales.
   * Check the current status of each register to ensure smooth operations.

This section seamlessly connects to the point of sale system. When a cash register is opened, the salesperson receives a link to the point of sale app, where they can create carts and process payments effortlessly. This integration ensures a streamlined sales process, enhancing the efficiency of your store’s operations.
