Create cash register
Follow these steps to create and set up a new cash register in your store:
Step 1: Navigate to the Cash Register Section
From your current store’s dashboard, go to the Cash Register section.
Step 2: Click the Create Button
Locate and click the Create button to begin setting up a new cash register.
Step 3: Enter the Cash Register Name
A prompt will appear asking for the name of the new cash register.
Enter a descriptive name that will help you identify this cash register (e.g., “Main Register,” “Cash Register 1”).
Step 4: Save the Cash Register
After entering the name, click the Save button to create the cash register.
Step 5: Open the Cash Register
Once the cash register is created, you will need to open it to start processing transactions.
Select the newly created cash register from the list and click the Open button.
Step 6: Enter the Cash Fund
When opening the cash register, you will be prompted to enter the initial cash fund amount.
Enter the amount of cash that will be in the register at the start of the shift.
Confirm by clicking the Save button.
Step 7: View Cash Register Overview and Access Sale Point
After opening the cash register, you will receive a prompt displaying the cash register overview.
This overview includes information on shifts and the status of funds.
In the Cash Registers section there is a button that takes you directly to the Point of Sale App, where sales staff can create carts and process payments.
Your cash register is now set up and ready to use. You can now proceed with processing transactions and managing cash flows through this register.
